Role Brief:  

Senior Consultant position is responsible for providing best in class analytics delivery services. The individual will lead and execute projects end-to-end, build and manage client relationships, contribute in building innovative analytical solutions and thought leadership and drive Fractal business through identification of opportunities and driving client value. The individual will bring at least 6-9 years of experience in executing hands-on statistical analytics and running data analytics projects across multiple domains, with some experience in the banking domain.  

Responsibilities:  

  • Solve business problems & develop a business solution:  Use problem-solving methodologies to propose solutions to solve business problems. Recommend, design and develop data-driven analysis using statistical & advanced analytics methodologies. Identify and eliminate possible obstacles and identify alternative creative solutions 
  • Project management:  Lead at least one client engagement independently. Execute end to end client engagements. Proactively deliver client updates and attend meetings with stakeholders. Identify potential failures and risks of a project, data sources, tracking execution and success metrics effectively and efficiently. A successful candidate is comfortable owning projects in complex, often ambiguous settings, while managing stakeholders’ expectations and ensuring a timely delivery of quality solutions  
  • Client relationship management: Build deep client relationships, network and be a trusted advisor. Anticipate business problems & set up clients for success. Interface with clients/senior stakeholders to understand their problems and work with the team on solutions that address the client need 
  • Sales Support & account growth: Actively focus on opportunities to grow the client along with the senior engagement manager. Support the sales team as required for RFPs and regular sales pitches 
  • Firm building: Contribute to firm growth by participating and conducting training sessions and thought leadership 

Qualifications:  

  • 6+ years of relevant work experience running data analytics projects 
  • Experience leading and working independently on end-to-end projects in a fast-paced environment is strongly preferred 
  • Experience of working in a diverse team with multiple stakeholders preferred 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must 
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL and advanced analytics tools is required. Proficiency with Python, R or SAS is strongly preferred 
  • Experience of executing data analytics using big data platforms like Teradata/Hadoop/Cloud is strongly preferred 
  • Knowledge of at least one visualization tool such as Tableau, or equivalent 
  • Hands-on experience in one more of following is strongly preferred: predictive modelling, churn analysis, forecasting, recommender system, text analytics, segmentation 
  • Previous experience in banking domain, solving customer centric or advanced analytical problems is required
  • Experience of leading a team onsite/offshore preferred 
  • At least a BTech or equivalent degree, higher degree associated with analytics/statistics preferred
