As an intern at Fox Robotics, you will adapt modern research to solve challenging problems in applied motion planning for a fleet of autonomous forklifts as part of a world-class team of robotics engineers and researchers. We are looking for self-motivated individuals who are excited to see cutting-edge research come out of the lab and run in real industry applications.
Internships are offered for periods of 3-6 months.
Prototype and evaluate new motion planning algorithms for use on an autonomous forklift
Work with other engineers as part of a close-knit team
Present results to other engineers and stakeholders
Current enrollment in a Ph.D. or M.S. degree program in robotics, computer science, or a related field
Relevant research experience in motion planning, controls, or related subjects
Experience programming in C++
Strong communication skills
