Role Summary 
 
Production (application) Support Engineer, You will be a primary resource for troubleshooting and identifying root cause of issues in software from a wide range of technologies. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience in Production Support. This is a fast paced position and you will constantly change tasks and focus. This position requires an individual who is ready to take initiative and complete work with minimal supervision.
 
Job Responsibilities: 
 
  • Ability work in the shifts and experience in 24/7 operations
  • Ability to follow instructions and respond immediately to any issues reported.
  • Ability to work independently to resolve technical issues reported in Fourkites products.
  • Ability to resolve infrastructure  related issues as reported by our internal team.
  • Develop troubleshooting documentation for production support resources.
    Create, monitor and respond to all alerts for production systems. 
  • Consistently follow up and update the tool in a prompt manner for all support cases until the closure of a case.
  • Participate in knowledge transfer to ensure better grasp of the product and domain.
  • Suggest fixes to complex issues by doing a thorough analysis of root cause and impact of the defect.
 
 
Technology & Skills: 
 
  • Minimum of 4 years supporting applications in a live level 3+ production environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
  • Analytical problem solver with the ability to think outside the box.
  • Able to work independently and make decisions. Demonstrated ability managing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience participating on 24x7 on-call rotation.
  • Willingness to work in different shift timing
  • Experience collaborating with software developers, QA engineers as well as other technical and non-technical audiences.
  • AWS / Azure cloud experience is a plus
  • Programming / Scripting experience is a plus.
