The HR Manager is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and passionate individual to join the team at Foundry, a subsidiary of the blockchain industry’s most prolific and active investor, Digital Currency Group. Reporting to the head of HR, the HR Manager will play an integral role as the HR team continues to build the HR foundation to support growth through the design and implementation of new programs and repeatable processes throughout the employee lifecycle.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

We’re looking for someone to partner with the HR team and business leaders as we continue to build and cultivate an engaging workplace centered on the Foundry values. This role is both a strategic and hands on and that provides support to management and drive programs. This role is critical in executing on our People initiatives, providing internal customer support and driving HR functional excellence.

  • Partner closely with the entire HR team and leadership to understand and execute the organizations HR strategy
  • Identify and implement HR programs centered around employee engagement, performance, learning & development, and retention of our amazing and talented team!
  • Helps to evaluate and develop new policies to support a growing company
  • Works closely with the HR lead to evaluate workforce planning needs and organizational design recommendations to leadership teams, along with evaluating tools, resources, and content across all functional areas of HR that will propel Foundry forward
  • Provide day to day performance management guidance to management
  • Use data and analytical skills to measure success, analyze trends, and develop proactive actions to further support business objectives
  • Provide support of HR policy interpretation and proactively seek corporate HR and/or Legal involvement when necessary.
  • We are growing and evolving, so other projects as assigned

ABOUT YOU:

  • 10+ years HR experience, degree preferred
  • Experience in a start-up environment, preferred
  • Experience supporting technology teams and companies, preferred
  • Team player and self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced collaborative environment
  • Experience using many different HR tools and platforms (we use Greenhouse and TriNet).
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, conflict resolution and presentation skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
