Head of People and Culture (m/f)

 

About the role:

FoundersLane is looking for an exceptional Head of Human Resources who is  proactive going beyond the call of duty, has an ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet tight deadlines, is comfortable in working in a fast-paced and constantly evolving environment, is welcoming to change, demonstrates composure during times of uncertainty and stress and has the ability to work hand-in-hand with our founders and C-level across the company.

 Responsibilities:

  • Craft talent acquisition strategies to build strong pipelines for future hiring needs
  • Ensure our hiring, onboarding and management procedures are effective for diverse groups
  • Lead employer branding efforts 
  • Further develop the performance management process as well as creating career development plans across departments
  • Set up and evaluate training and development programs
  • Foster a positive working environment in our Berlin office 
  • Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
  • Develop HR policies for all branches, countries, regions
  • Analyze the effectiveness of our HR procedures and tools
  • Ensure HR plans align with our mission and business objectives

Requirements:

  • Work experience as a Chief HR Officer, VP of HR or similar role
  • Proven and successful experience delivering innovative HR programs within a fast paced, evolving, and wide organizational setting
  • Experience advising and influencing executives, providing insights that lead to key decision making within the business
  • Strong business acumen and general management experience and capabilities that enable you to effectively assess the internal business environment and deliver transformative change where necessary
  • Experience in strategic planning
  • In-depth knowledge of all HR functions
  • Good understanding of labor legislation
  • Excellent leadership abilities
  • Communication and problem-solving skills
  • BSc/MSc in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology or relevant field
