Operations and Analytics Associate:

Scale Underwriting is seeking an Operations and Analytics Associate to lead the direction of Scale’s growing technology and analytical capabilities. This position will have a far reaching impact across a growing organization. As an Operations and Analytics Associate, you’ll have the opportunity to work on projects that affect both internal and external stakeholders. You will combine analytical and strategic thinking to drive key results for the company.

About the role:

The Operations and Analytics Associate will work closely with clients, developers, and internal stakeholders to manage the day-to-day operations of Scale’s business operations, analytics, and strategies. This individual will use problem solving skills to develop creative solutions for our stakeholders. They must be able to analyze key initiatives for the business and translate that analysis into actionable results for Scale.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Translating stakeholder needs into solutions within our current business processes
  • Supporting senior leadership on strategic initiatives and operational improvements to uncover opportunities to improve business practices
  • Organizing, preparing, and translating data into critical metrics for internal stakeholders and to provide risk management consistency
  • Effectively and clearly communicating with clients and coworkers across various channels
  • Creating and designing new features and projects in Salesforce
  • Improving the functionality of custom Salesforce objects
  • Managing the reporting of KPIs for company-wide initiatives, as well as specific lines of business
  • Organizing and communicating process improvements across the organization

About you:

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in business operations, data analytics, or management consulting, preferably at a technology company
  • Advanced skills in Salesforce and Excel
  • Experience managing data reporting, visualization, and progress tracking
  • Experience working with relational database management systems
  • Proficient in R programming language 
  • Strong track record of identifying and improving process inefficiencies
  • Experience evaluating and implementing new technology tools for the team
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Team player with strong interpersonal, communication, and project management skills
