Foundation Risk Partners, one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the US, is adding an Employee Benefits Account Manager to their Herbie Wiles Insurance team in St. Augustine, FL.
Job Summary:
The Benefits Account Manager is a learning position to become responsible for daily servicing of assigned clients including new and renewal business processing and maintenance of exceptional customer relations with the client. This position also supports the Producer assigned to them when needed. This position regularly interacts with new and existing clients as needed on small to medium accounts while being responsible for devising creative solutions to meet client needs as to coverage and costs.
Essential Functions:
Uses discretion and independent judgment to conceptualize and implement solutions to meet client needs as to coverage and costs
Prepares the process of renewal submissions for marketing including application, necessary exhibits, narratives, loss runs and answer underwriting questions, selecting renewal markets and rating, prepare proposal and binding
Collects and analyzes client information through endorsement requests and general coverage questions while regularly interacting with clients in a professional and timely manner
Assists the producers for new and existing clients as needed
Collaboratively conducts marketing including all steps from preparing a submission to proposing and binding coverage as needed with fellow Account Managers
Prepares processed policies as needed prior to releasing to the client
Prepares certificates of insurance with special wording and looks for unusual wording
Assist in negotiating products and pricing on behalf of the company and clients
Coordinates Open Enrollment for clients
Assists the producers with new business marketing – preparing applications, submit to markets or rate, prepare proposals and binding
Participates in marketing and sales meetings
Invoices - all new and renewal business and endorsements; Prepares finance agreements
Prepares binders and master certificate for renewals and new business
Checks policies and endorsements for accuracy before delivery
Prepares and retains existing book of business
Prepares and processes renewals, new policies, and policy changes
Handles questions, research and resolve problems
Prepares account reconciliations for receivables management
Prepares, maintains, and verifies client billings/invoices
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
State required insurance license (2-15 or 2-40) or willingness to obtain
Some college helpful1-3 years’ insurance experience
