Position Overview:
We are looking for a proactive and visionary Medical Director with a bold outlook on healthcare to oversee the day-to-day operations of Found’s affiliated medical groups. This role combines clinical oversight with leadership responsibilities and will be instrumental in scaling and driving our mission of delivering top-notch, personalized, medically-assisted weight loss that delivers long-term, sustainable results to our members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Found’s Chief Medical Officer, the President of the medical groups and other stakeholders to develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for innovative obesity care that is aligned with organizational goals
- Oversee the quality and efficiency of day-to-day clinical operations
- Monitor adherence to clinical protocols and best clinical practices
- Oversee hiring, onboarding, and training of top talent for our provider team, including MDs and other advanced practice professionals
- Develop, implement, and maintain clinical guidelines and protocols
- Mentor and lead clinical team, including the Clinical Lead program
- Work with Clinical Operations to build management processes that empower providers and drive our vision and core values
- Ensure clinical team is educated on protocols, workflows, tools, and initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve quality and efficiency of clinical protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align medical strategies with organizational goals
- Handle clinical escalations and identify areas for continuous improvement
- Direct clinical operations to ensure compliance with all regulations, laws, and policies governing clinical care
- Work with Marketplace Operations to monitor provider capacity, ensure appropriate staffing and improve provider productivity
Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD/DO/NP) and board certification
- Active medical license in at least one U.S. state (multi-state licensure preferred)
- Minimum of 7 years of clinical experience in a relevant field
- Experience scaling a high-growth telemedicine-based medical practice
- Proven leadership experience in healthcare
- Strong understanding of telemedicine practices and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- No history of medical board disciplinary actions, malpractice claims, or professional misconduct
