As a Sales Development Representative on our team, you'll be working closely with our high-performing sales team by focusing on outbound sales strategies that proactively generate new potential customers and revenue. In your day-to-day tasks you'll spend a lot of time cold-calling prospective leads, maintaining knowledge of market conditions and ensuring proper up-to-date documentation. A vital part of your job is building relationships with prospects from a diverse range of industries by inspiring and clearly articulating our technology.
In this role you will:
Responsible for growing new business by proactively generating new qualified leads.
Identify, qualify, sort, and track leads.
Articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.
Ambitious and energetic self-starter who enjoys working in a quota-driven environment.
Minimum of 50 outbound prospecting calls a day.
Exceptional cold-calling using consultative phone skills, including the ability to clearly articulate, inspire, project confidence, influence, overcome objections, and remain resilient throughout.
Research and document relevant contact information for existing leads/keeping contact information updated.
Utilize Salesforce, Outreach.io and Discover.org to ensure activities are documented properly, opportunities are forecasted accurately, and adequate information regarding the prospect and/or opportunity is communicated.
Maintain knowledge of market conditions and competitive activities.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience selling technology solutions to Director and C-Level executives to SMB, mid-market, and Enterprise clients
Experience meeting minimum outbound call volume and/or talk time goals.
Must be organized and detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills.
Strong computer knowledge required.
Ability to multi-task with several tools, work independently and prioritize tasks, honor rules of engagement and follow policies, processes and procedures.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
