Forward Networks is looking for a hands-on QA Lead that can work closely with our developers to ensure high-quality releases of our product.
Responsibilities:
Own the end-to-end QA process, including setting the technical vision for developing test frameworks; developing and executing test plans; and reporting test results and quality metrics
Work with product and engineering teams to understand product vision and requirements and collaborate on feature acceptance criteria
Partner with Engineering and Product Management to plan, test, and ship releases
Lead test automation efforts
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Computer Science or similar, or equivalent industry experience
5+ years of professional experience as a QA lead/architect at a growth-stage company. Formal QA Manager experience is desirable, but not required
3+ years of experience with automated test development tools and testing frameworks such as Selenium; and 3+ years of experience testing REST APIs
Expert knowledge with at least 3 years of experience in Java or similar programming languages
Strong understanding of REST and demonstrated experience with web services APIs testing/automation
3+ years working in an Agile environment
Excellent oral communication skills
Strong written skills and ability to follow established software procedures and generate required software documentation and defect logging
NOTE: experience in the networking domain is NOT a requirement for this role but is a plus.
