The Marketing Content Manager is a core member of the marketing team at Forward Networks. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this position will be responsible for creating content that helps the team build awareness and generate demand for the company’s groundbreaking software platform. This is a hands-on role.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in marketing communications at both startup ventures and larger companies, has excellent communication skills, and is a terrific team player. He/she should be experienced with writing copy for multiple marketing channels, with a keen sense of how the right content (for the right audience) can impact the sales funnel.
The Marketing Content Manager will own the following types of deliverables: web content, email campaigns, case studies, video scripts, product collateral, newsletters, blog posts, contributed articles, white papers, and abstracts.
Requirements:
Networking industry experience; you have created campaigns written specifically for IT audiences, e.g. Network Engineers/Operators and Executives
7 + years experience building and executing successful content strategies
Analyzing metrics and campaign success; ability to interpret results and change approach when needed in a fast paced environment
Natural storyteller; ability to create a compelling narrative around the company’s story and products
Outstanding, diverse portfolio of writing samples, e.g. email campaigns and blogs
Editor’s eye (exceptional written communication skills)
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent
Stellar references from past employers
Network Certification (CCIE or CCNA) is a huge plus
