Operations Manager - FLM

Position Overview
Reporting to the General Manager, Fortune Live Media, this position will provide organizational support for the various event workstreams and respective operations, including marketing, executive relations, programming, production operations and sales. The position will help manage the deliverables and the timelines for the teams that are responsible both for overseeing multiple existing premier global events and communities and for establishing and growing new franchises. You will be responsible for helping document and implement the vision, strategy, metrics, and internal processes, to improve efficiency and communications. You will also be responsible for tracking project deliverables and operations, with a focus on timeline adherence.
 
You will provide organizational and operational support across the following teams:
·         Marketing and audience recruitment
·         Event execution, experience, operations, and production
·         Event programming
·         Finance (budgets, forecasting)
·         Live Media sponsorship sales
·         Technology implementation and operational infrastructure
·         Events teams in Asia and Europe

·         Highly organized and process oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and across various operating workstreams
·         Process oriented, with a willingness to research, test and implement new systems and/or procedures
·         Adept at problem solving, with a willingness to provide hands on support for event execution across various departments
·         Adept at building relationships with both the leaders and the support teams of the various operational departments, being highly responsive and inspiring confidence
·         Curiosity and tenacity with high integrity
 
Qualifications:
·         Have 5+ years working within the international events business
·         Have 5+ years in the content and media industry
·         Experience working with organizations convening and communicating with high profile global leaders, including C-suite, government officials, artists/talent and others.
·         Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across functions and departments
·         Have experience in a matrixed organization and demonstrated success
 
Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000, and bonus eligible
