Job Title: Account Manager (UK)  

Job Overview: Fortune seeks a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager (UK), to join our team. The primary responsibility of the Account Manager (UK) is to manage and grow direct and agency sales in the UK. The Account Manager (UK) will work closely with our New York City-based marketing team to develop proposals and pricing for prospective clients.  


  • Formulate and execute sales strategies tailored to the UK market, ensuring revenue targets are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Foster and expand existing client relationships, working with Agencies where required, while continually identifying fresh business prospects.
  • Collaborate with the US-based marketing team to devise custom proposals and pricing structures tailored for potential UK clients.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with decision-makers at various levels, with a spotlight on C-Suite executives within targeted sectors.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments.  
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and services. 

 Location: Based in London and willing to work in the office at least three days a week, with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time in-office schedule. 


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in direct and agency sales within the financial media industry selling digital media, custom content, print and conference sponsorship. 
  • Proven track record of achieving, if not surpassing, sales targets and growing revenue from Large Companies and Professional Services Firms  
  • History of formulating and delivering effective sales strategies.
  • Emphasis on lead generation, nurturing a robust sales pipeline, and sealing deals.
  • Strength in navigating organizations both internally and externally.  
  • Experience using Salesforce to manage the sales process and forecast sales. Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns. 
  • Recognize that Fortune has many lines of business and that transparency is critical for larger org.  
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.  
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.  
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
