This position will play a pivotal role on the web team with a focus on lead generation, web traffic growth, integrating newly acquired businesses, and leading special web-optimization projects across Fortra brands.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Partner with the Web Director on our overall Fortra web strategy and ensure our goals align with the company’s goals and objectives
- Partner with the web lead and brand teams to dive into dips in web performance and help create a plan to remedy
- Assist in integrating acquired businesses and their web properties into Fortra by reviewing their online web presence and web metrics, and make recommendations for improvement
- Assist with the integration of new web properties by ensuring correct tracking and measurement, implementing new web tools in the Fortra tech stack, and help to create a go-forward web strategy that aligns with company objectives
- Assist in troubleshooting and solving issues on the site regarding performance and/or tracking
- Work with cross departmental teams to determine how we can expand our presence and improve the customer experience in our customer and partner portals
- Assist in projects, planning, and timely execution of website migrations, future website launches, enhancements, and upgrades
- Analyze web metrics to identify opportunities for performance improvement
- Clearly communicate initiatives or issues with technical developers, brand teams, and other stakeholders
- Stay up to date on web trends and releases, and coordinate trainings with the marketing and web teams as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
- Three - five years’ minimum experience in project management, web development, or other related field
- Intermediate knowledge of search optimization (SEO) best practices
- Intermediate knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Basic knowledge of programming and web design
- Working knowledge of Google Analytics and other reporting tools
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with acute attention to detail
- Ability to quickly tackle any project, large or small, with a positive attitude while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction
- Excellent communication skills that are both professional and personable
- Confidence to make quick, independent decisions when needed
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation concepts
- An eye for detail with a high standard for quality in all aspects
- Enjoys working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, results- and action- oriented environment
