The Sales Resource Manager is the link between sales and internal stakeholders to ensure Sales and Channel are fully equipped with content, demo training, and awareness of available assets to sell efficiently at a higher velocity. This role is responsible for oversight of the sales content inventory, including training content, resources, and collateral.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Cross collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure Sales Hub is up-to-date with relevant content that supports sales enablement.
- Maintain the centralized sales repository of resources, playbooks, presentations, case studies, and competitive intelligence.
- Identify and implement best practices to streamline sales processes and increase efficiency across the sale organization.
- Functions as the Sales Ops & Enablement communications lead to ensure that collective team updates are coming out regularly to the sales org (e.g., new program/process, CRM enhancements, new dashboard PBI views, presidents club, new comp plans, etc.)
- In collaboration with the Director, Sales Enablement, develop, administer and track KPIs to measure the effectiveness of sales enablement initiatives.
- Active member of the product launch team including Product Management, Product Marketing, Field Marketing and Sales.
- Provides the Sales team with product enhancement launch dates and details by region in conjunction with Marketing to ensure sales enablement bill of material is considered and fulfilled.
- Learns new hardware, software and skills with current software used by the company.
- Works with the launch team to create training content and demonstration material as needed to ensure consistent messaging.
- Partner with Sales Operations to create and maintain a playbook for new hire sales onboarding training, including product, processes, and tool training.
- In collaboration with the Director, conducts trainings for the Sales and Channel organization on products, positioning, how to demo, and Marketing campaigns.
- Provides training curriculum, rollout, and monitors completion for our ecosystem with a goal of automated notices to Fortra employees upon Channel rep and customer completion for further follow up.
- Works closely with the Sales Operations team to create and maintain training and process documents as sales tools evolve.
- Develops and maintains RFP response templates, content libraries, and proposal guidelines. Manages unique RFP requirements, ensuring requests are receiving the necessary attention from other internal stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain KPIs on behalf of the Sales Ops & Development team.
- Additional duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred
- 5 years of sales experience or sales support roles, preferably in a software/technology company
- Proven experience in sales enablement, sales ops management, and business development.
- Demonstrated experience delivering strong results, seeing initiatives through from start to finish, with a high level of accountability.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and present strong business insights.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a team-focused mentality and proven ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally.
- Positive attitude with a high-level of motivation to produce results
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment with competing priorities.
- Experience with LMS platforms strongly preferred
