Fortitude Re is rapidly growing and we have multiple open actuarial positions at the Senior Actuarial Associate level, which require 3 plus years of experience in an actuarial role.  This individual must be an Associate or Fellow of the SOA, CAS, or IFoA. This individual will have an undergraduate degree with preference for mathematics, actuarial sciences, statistics, or other quantitative fields.

  • Review and analysis of reinsurance settlements
  • Development and analysis of liability key performance indicators
  • Quality Assurance (first line independent testing and validation of models)
  • Capital management

The following skillsets are not required but are a plus:
  • Strong technical skills (Excel skills required)
  • Knowledge of SQL, familiarity with programming in R or Python
  • Exposure to business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.
  • Exposure to actuarial software such as GGY/Moody’s AXIS

The base salary range for this role is listed below and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. In addition to base salary, all employees are eligible for an annual bonus based on company and individual performance as well as a generous benefits package.

$110,000$130,000 USD
