Job Description

Forthea is seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial and detail-oriented Operations Project Manager to help drive strategy, value and success of our internal and external projects. This person should be a detail-oriented multi-tasker and have experience managing various types of projects.

---Core Job Responsibilities---

  • Manage project profitability and timelines - keep other team members informed of changes when necessary
  • Periodically review client’s primary performance metrics and meet with production team to ensure continued growth
  • Periodic meetings with Account Executive & Ops Team to review success status
  • Manage implementation and timeliness of all deliverables promised to clients
  • Develops strong and positive working relationships with other disciplines and project stakeholders; strong project team manager, motivating project teams to excel, while supporting their various work streams to ensure adherence to objectives, process, and timelines
  • Run effective meetings establishing objective and intended outcomes, proper participants and then creating an environment that delivers against the objectives
  • Work with our leadership team to establish staff plans, align team needs and forecast staffing requirements.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact on high level company initiatives, orchestrating effective communication across teams and keeping track of timelines to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Manage and prepare team-wide weekly and monthly reporting needs while ensuring accuracy in a timely manner.
  • Effectively assign, delegate, coordinate, and monitor project work with internal teams
  • Document, manage, and ensure efficient workflows within the department
  • Assist business development team with team planning, project start times, and reviewing and approving contracts
  • Understands the complexities of both Agile and Waterfall work environments, has the ability to influence decisions and drive results, and helps guide assigned teams through successful completion of programs/projects

---Required Qualifications---

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree from 4-year, accredited college
  • Minimum Experience: 3-5+ years’ experience in an account management, project management or relationship management role, preferably within an online advertising firm, or enterprise technology firm
  • Excellent client and account service record; track record of accomplishing successful results for clients
  • Experience with writing, presenting and executing effective communications, media or interactive marketing plans
  • Minimum Field-of-Expertise: Marketing, Advertising, PR, Communications, Consulting or similar
  • Minimum Computer Experience: Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Minimum Attitude: Superb
  • Experience with project management tools
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
