The position is a project-based internship where the successful candidate will create a virtual video tour of the Fortera Small Commercial Plant design. This individual will be utilizing and must be competent at navigating a provided Plant 3D model in Navisworks Freedom. Elements of the video will include scripted narration, interlaced still photos, and B-roll overlay. 

The job will be located in San Jose, CA with a potential visit to the plant construction site in Redding, CA.

The intended duration for this internship is 6-12 weeks depending on completion of project and candidate availability.


  • Design, create and produce Engineering video
  • Digital video format conversion and compression
  • Perform audio sweetening/editing and exporting for transcription
  • Apply transitions, effects, color grading, etc. into created content
  • Improve and correct lighting, coloring, captions, and audio files
  • Input graphics to enhance footage
  • Input sound effects to enhance footage, which may include selecting music and writing voiceovers
  • Create other graphic and marketing design materials as needed


  • Candidate must be currently enrolled in and returning to an accredited degree-seeking academic program in the Fall
  • Must be available to work full-time (approximately 40 hours per week) during an 6–12-week period
  • Experience in video editing and video creation
  • An aptitude, knowledge, and understanding of the latest video, and graphic design related software
  • Strong creative skills in layout and typography
  • Completion of coursework and/or specialized training in graphic/web design
  • The ability to work independently
