About the role:
Our Payments Initiative takes Forter’s battle-tested and market-leading fraud detection analytic capabilities and combines them with deep business insights and cutting-edge technology to bring a complete line of products to our enterprise customer base that helps optimize and streamline the payments flow.
In our team we track the performance of our payment solution across the many merchants already using it, adjust our system when necessary and work collaboratively with our precision, engineering, and product teams to make sure that the constant development of the product is tailored to optimize performance for our merchants.
We are looking for an experienced, goal-oriented, fast, and innovative Analyst. You will be leading a central domain within our Analytical operations, so you need to feel comfortable leading cross-team collaborations, owning and being accountable for company-level KPIs, and presenting data-driven conclusions to senior stakeholders both internally and externally.

What you’ll be doing:
- Become an expert in the payments field, deeply understand e-commerce buyers’ behavior as well as the actions taken by the banks (and other financial institutes) real-time systems.
- Take part in creating data visualizations and automatic monitoring tools to ensure our solution always delivers the results merchants are expecting
- Create a narrative to demonstrate to our customers, through data, the value of the solution
- Collaborate with a team of the industry’s leading researchers, data scientists and software engineers to develop the next generation of Forter’s AI technology.
What you’ll need:
- At least 2 years of experience in product-oriented data analytics and deriving conclusions from data
- Know how to work with data - practical experience analyzing data with SQL and data visualization tools
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills (including strong English). Clearly convey and convince people of your view on complex issues.
- Project management capabilities - you should be able to independently lead a domain, get buy-in from stakeholders across the company, maintain an organized knowledge base of your tasks, lead quarterly projects
- A fast mind, with strong attention to detail and an urge to understand everything you lay eyes on, especially the motivations behind the actions of individuals and institutions
- An algorithmic thinker, with strong statistical and probabilistic intuition and a grasp for complex problems/solutions
- Experience in the payments/fintech industry, practical knowledge of payments flow (how a transaction gets authorized/rejected) - Advantage
- Experience in a customer-facing position, presenting data to customers - Advantage
- Python code-writing experience - Advantage
