For Our Future is a Super PAC and C4 that will incorporate issue advocacy and a robust electoral program in Florida to mobilize working families on creating shared economic prosperity, building strong public schools, addressing climate change and supporting racial justice. The model is to respect, empower, and include communities of color and organizations across the country that want to work with us on shared agenda and shared electoral goals.
Our internships offer great opportunities for dedicated workers interested in learning about the political process and enhancing their skills in the political realm. By working under our team of specialists, our interns will be able to learn more about campaigns and elections, and hone their skills in order to understand what it takes to be successful in politics today.
Strong candidates will have campaign/political experience, a strong interest in politics and the political process, and a committed work ethic. They should be dependable, flexible, detail-oriented, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be comfortable working independently, and possess excellent writing skills. All candidates must be comfortable with Microsoft Office and Google suite.
Current Positions available:
Campus Intern: Will work with our Regional Directors on various key campuses across the state.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ensures that daily, weekly, and monthly goals are met and exceeded.
Ensures that all required reporting is accurate and timely and that all regional data is entered on time.
Represents the organization at community events and meetings when advised by For Florida's Future
Campus organization involvement preferred but not required.
Knowledge of Votebuilder/VAN preferred.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Basic computer literacy, database skills, and access to a reliable portable computer.
Must have access to reliable transportation.
Possesses a winning mentality
Bilingual experience is a plus, but not required.
***Compensation is $15 per hour for approximately 15 hours per week. This internship is from the months of February-April of 2018.
