As a Marketing Coordinator at Formidable, you will be a part of a global distributed team in place to support our growth through market awareness, lead generation, candidate acquisition, and brand-building activities. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with nearly every department in the company, reporting directly to the VP of Marketing with strong alliances within Business Development, Operations, and the Delivery organization.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Work in partnership with internal stakeholders (e.g., business development, recruiting) to oversee multi-channel marketing efforts across all owned channels and platforms to meet objectives for all public-­facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets (blogs, social media posts, display advertising, content campaigns, landing pages, etc.).
  • Support the marketing, business development, and design teams by coordinating and collating content.
  • Develop marketing plans, programs, and dashboards for Formidable service offerings and direct promotional support.
  • Build and maintain relations with clients, prospects, and the developer community by coordinating and supporting company presence at global conventions, meetups, and other external-facing events.
  • Plan meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements, establishing contacts, developing schedules and assignments, and coordinating mailing lists.
  • Write creative briefs, meeting recaps, and summary reports.
  • Keep promotional materials ready by coordinating requirements with the operations department, inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt.
  • Brainstorm with internal teams on new insights and strategies for effective content and brand awareness-building activities.
  • Support go-to-market and lead generation activities with the Business Development team.

You have:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of working experience in a marketing or project management role
  • 2+ years proven knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMRush, etc.)
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Presentation building skills
  • Results-oriented marketing mind with an eye for creativity
  • Validated experience executing on marketing plans and campaigns
  • Strong cross-group collaboration skills; able to work with executives, partners, vendors, agencies, program teams, the field, etc.
  • Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis
  • Familiarity with SEO/SEM, marketing databases, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Ability to travel when safe to do so
  • Understanding of ad serving tools
  • Understanding of HTML, digital design, and content management systems

Extra Credit:

  • Working in or for a technology agency or consultancy
  • Setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on all major search engines
  • Working for a distributed, growing, global organization
  • Graphic design experience
  • Bachelor’s in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with marketing automation and CRM tools

  • Base salary range for this position is $70,000 - $85,000 and is based upon years of experience that is commensurate with the level of the position.
