Note: This is a remote position that will manage a territory comprising the northwestern United States (exact territory is to be determined but could include states such as WA, OR, northern CA, ID, WY, MN, UT, CO). Candidates located and able to travel within this region will be considered.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Own new business development, inspiring integrators, value-add distributors, machine builders, and end-users to learn more about formic’s RaaS offering
- Generate new business and attentively follow up with leads
- Work with the sales development team to create targeted account outreach
- Qualify new potential projects
- Participate in trade shows and other industry events
- Lead site visits for new project discovery, with the flexibility to handle up to 75% travel (in your geographic region)
- Lead both internal and external resources during the pitch process
- Track your opportunity funnels in CRM
- Present Proposals to customers in light of the needs of their business
- Evaluate customer requirements for automation projects, work with the engineering team to develop concepts, and follow up with quotes
- Understand local manufacturing customer base and work with the sales development team to create a target list to focus on
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a field related to industrial automation sales or manufacturing equipment sales
- Hunger to learn, and grow in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Salesforce and G-suite
- Demonstrated success in a sales process-driven environment
Preferred: A proven track record in the SaaS or industrial automation industries
