What you'll be doing:  

Reporting to the VP of Marketing, our first Director of Product Marketing will play a pivotal role in piloting and executing Forma.ai’s go-to-market strategy.  

Your role involves crafting distinctive product positioning and messaging, bridging communication between product development and sales, and collaborating with the rest of marketing for successful launches. You will also own pricing and packaging, collaborating closely with the Sales and Product teams while empowering sales with innovative tools, create compelling collateral, and leverage customer relationships for case studies. You will analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights.   

The Director of Product Marketing will directly assist in establishing Forma.ai as the best enterprise SPM solution on the market.  

As the Director of Product Marketing, you’ll contribute in the following areas:   

  • Lead product marketing strategy and execution for Forma.ai  
  • Own pricing and packaging collaborating closely with the Sales and Product teams 
  • Develop and execute comprehensive product positioning and messaging that differentiates Forma.ai in the competitive SPM software category  
  • Work closely with the sales team to develop sales tools and training programs that empower them to effectively pitch and sell Forma.ai   
  • Act as a liaison between product development and sales teams, fostering effective communication and understanding of the product  
  • Support to sales through the development of pitch decks, battle cards, and other relevant materials   
  • Create compelling and effective collateral, including whitepapers, case studies, product videos, and web content  
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, design, engineering, and marketing, to ensure successful product launches with a clear and cohesive marketing plan  
  • Cultivate and leverage relationships with customers to develop case studies, testimonials, and references that support marketing and sales efforts  
  • Establish, track, and analyze campaign performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimization  
  • Help dictate content marketing priorities and direction  

What we're looking for:   

  • 7-10+ years of B2B SaaS product marketing experience  
  • Experience in hyper-growth SaaS/B2B environments  
  • Experience with differentitated product and/or category creation 
  • Deep understanding of B2B sales cycle and experience supporting sales  
  • Strong opinions about product marketing   
  • A builder of strategy and content with a continuous improvement mindset  
  • Ability to learn a new space and confidently create content for it  
  • Track record of creating high quality, impactful launches that stand out  
  • Proven ability to build relationships and communicate internally and externally
