This position is based in our Bangalore office.

Responsibilities –

 
What you’ll do:
  • Lead efforts in test automation, including the design & development of automated test scripts.
  • Implement test automation for API & UI components, including the design & development of automation framework. 
  • Write high-quality code, review the product & automation code changes & lead by example in terms of coding standards & best practices.
  • Proven experience in evaluating & implementing automation tools, testing & building test frameworks.
  • Excellent understanding of SW engineering & best practices related to source code control, unit testing, & CI/CD.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with Agile & Scrum processes.
  • Drive test design, develop comprehensive test plans, ensure thorough testing coverage & strategies for software testing across multiple teams in accordance with agreed timelines. 
  • Provides technical recommendations & testing solutions that meet the goals of the program. 
  • Drives troubleshooting, recreating of operational/application issues across the project.
  • Identify & implement preventative measures from the RCA & implements mitigation options for project risks. 
  • Effectively communicate test design, test artifacts, & quality metrics to stakeholders.
  • Provide mentorship, training sessions & guidance to enhance the skills of the QA team.
What you'll:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or relevant technical work experience.
  • 8+ years of experience developing automated tests suites for distributed applications or public facing APIs/ HTTP/ REST/ JSON in a continuous integration environment
  • 5+ years of development experience using Java.
  • 3+ years of experience with the following technologies: POSTMAN, Selenium, JUnit/TestNG & JSON
  • Experience validating cloud-based applications
  • Experience with REST APIs automation, UI automation & continuous integration.
  • Knowledge of Agile Practice.
  • Experience with tools in the Software Development Life Cycle including: source control, build systems, issue tracking, & requirements management
You have an advantage if: 
  • Experience in E2E & Integration tests of complex systems
  • Knowledge of Dockerization & Kubernetes
  • Experience with asynchronous messaging (Kafka, Redis)
  • Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, Elasticsearch
  • Knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM)
  • Awareness/experience of Cloud Platforms AWS/Azure
