We are looking for a talented Software Development Manager to lead three Agile software development teams in creating initiatives for the PingOne Platform and PingOne Metrics and Dashboards. As a people manager, you will be responsible for guiding and nurturing team members' career development. You will oversee the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for the teams and act as a scrum master and product owner for their initiatives. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in facilitating communication with all relevant stakeholders, including product managers, UX designers, technical writers, and other development teams. This will involve managing the initiatives roadmap for the team and addressing dependencies to ensure successful project delivery. You will:

Report functionally to the Director of PingOne Admin Experience.Lead two Agile development teams comprised of software development engineers and Software Quality Engineers (SQEs).Guide and support team members in their career development.Oversee the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for the teams and serve as both scrum master and product owner for their initiatives.Collaborate with product managers to create a clear and coherent roadmap for the teams' initiatives.Facilitate communication with other engineering teams to address dependencies and resolve blockers affecting the teams' initiatives.Demonstrate commitment to the business by ensuring timely delivery of initiatives with high quality.

You have:

At least 5 years of experience as a people manager.Strong technical background.Good understanding of Agile methodologies.Very good communication skills.Knowledge of DevOps practices: Understanding of DevOps principles to streamline development, testing, and deployment processes, and ensure continuous integration and delivery.Experience with managing small to mid-size projects. Collaboration and teamwork: Experience working closely with cross-functional teams, such as product managers, UX designers, and quality assurance engineers, to achieve project success.

You have an advantage if: 

You have a good understanding of microservice architecture, cloud technologies, APIs, containerization, and modern development frameworks. You have Proficiency in Agile and Scrum practices.You have experience with Java development frameworks.You have experience with some of the following technologies: Spring Boot, Kafka, Cassandra. You have experience with developing data ingestion pipelines in SaaS solutions.
