As a Ping Identity DevOps QA Engineer II, you will be involved in maintaining our Cloud-based services. You will take ownership of operational maintenance.  In this role you will be responsible for managing the customer environments, fulfilling service requests, onboarding new customers and upgrading existing environments. We follow a DevOps model: Development and Operations teams are integrated, running continuous deployments daily, and the teams collaborate in the solution's development, deployment, and operations.

You will:
  • Develop and execute test plans that involve both automated and manual testing
  • Engage with cross functional teams to get in-depth quality coverage across components and Ping products
  • Work on features end to end, starting from requirements analysis till general availability including design, implementation, testing, quality assurance, documentation and some post release support.
  • Stay on the forefront of knowledge in the industry, and share insights with other team members
  • Gain experience in emerging technologies including blockchain and distributed ledger
You have:
  • 3-5 years of experience in testing of products / platforms
  • Must have hands-on experience in implementation of test automation scripts (using python)
  • Must be able to setup QA automation environment and implement tests to validate API, backend and frontend components
  • Must have good experience in developing test approaches, test cases, test plans, test scripts for HTTP, REST, and JSON protocols
  • Must have hands on experience on Robot Framework, PyTest
  • Must have experience in CI/CD driven agile scrum development
  • Must have experience in developing BDD tests using Gherkin syntax
  • Good to have SaaS - DevOps experience on AWS environment
  • Good to have working experience on Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, AWS
You will have an advantage if:
  • Experience in E2E & Integration tests of complex systems
  • Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM)
  • Knowledge of Protocols: SAML, OAuth and OpenID Connect
