Summer 2025 Product Design Intern

We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic design intern to join our Product Design group at Forbes over the course of 10 weeks. This intern position will have the opportunity to help deliver industry-leading digital product experiences that engage our users and drive our business forward. They will work cross-functionally with teams including product, editorial, engineering and growth.

The successful candidate will demonstrate foundational knowledge of user-centered design principles and a desire to create best-in-class products.

Responsibilities

  • Bring new and big ideas to work with you everyday.
  • Willingness to apply research, usability testing, and data to inform design decisions.
  • Proactively seek collaboration and input among the immediate team and across disciplines.
  • Communicate the “why” behind your work, to both designers and non-designers.

The Ideal Candidate

  • 1 year of experience designing digital products (this can be through coursework).
  • Foundational knowledge of UX principles and best practices, with an eye for visual design.
  • Comfortable designing in Figma.
  • Possess a portfolio showcasing your work.
  • Innately curious and proactive, with a passion for new and emerging design approaches, technologies and platforms.
  • Plus: Experience with or passion for editorial products.

About Our Summer Intern Program

  • Our internships are paid.
  • This internship is approximately 40 hours/week Monday-Friday.
  • Internships begin mid-June and end mid-August
  • Interns are invited to weekly presentations to hear from leaders within the organization.

This role can be fully remote (within the U.S.), in-person based out of Jersey City, NJ, or on a hybrid work schedule.

The hourly rate for this role is $21.00 - $21.00
