Forbes is looking for a driven, people-centric and passionate Vice President of Web3 to lead our Web3 and Forbes Digital Assets strategy.  It will be your responsibility to lead the vision, process and strategies around everything Web3, Crypto and Blockchain, help bring products to live that will be seen and used by millions of users worldwide. 

This role requires managing relationships with Stakeholders and ability to build comprehensive product roadmaps.  You bring enthusiasm, ideas, vision,  a product mindset and technology foresight to the table.

What you will be doing:

  • Leading and evangelizing Web3 around the company
  • Provide on-going assessment of industry trends and customer needs/requirements by leveraging industry research, consumer research, and professional networking
  • Lead Forbes’ NFT strategy
  • Develop a comprehensive benefits program for the NFT community
  • Lead development of Forbes’ presence in the Metaverse
  • Approach work with value and product-driven mindset
  • Manage partnerships with major blockchain partners
  • Manager partnerships with major crypto and NFT exchanges
  • Evaluate Vendors, run pilots and make informed partnership decisions
  • Building out Forbes’ web3 community
  • Deep understanding of blockchain technology
  • Translating strategy into applicable goals for the entire organization around Web3
  • Help teams set goals and achieve them
  • Partner with Product ownership to define Web3 roadmap
  • Champion Innovation

What we are looking for:

Relevant Skills:

  • Experience in developing and launching NFT collections
  • Experience with popular Metaverses like Sandbox and Decentraland
  • Experience launching web3 projects
  • Experience with crypto payments
  • Experience with crypto wallets
  • Experience with tokens
  • Understanding of DAOs
  • Understanding of smart contracts

General Skills:

  • Ability to communicate highly technical concepts to non-technical audiences both verbally and in writing
