Forbes is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Software Architect to join our Front End Team working on Forbes.com and the pages and websites that surround it. It will be your responsibility to deliver high profile and impactful features that will be seen and used by millions of users worldwide. You love what it means to work on client-side code, care deeply about how CSS is approached and written, strive for semantics, and are very comfortable with Javascript and NodeJS.

Primary Role:
● Feature development and mentoring for engineering excellence
Daily Expectations:
● Participate and help lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies
● Lead projects on a technical level
● Develop features with high-quality, maintainable, scalable code
● Participate in Code Reviews
● Champion Unit and Integration Testing
● Analyze and resolve emerging technical issues
● Collaborate with product owners and designers
Core Competencies:
● Strong web development ability (HTML, CSS, JS)
● Experience in multiple JS frameworks (Reactjs)
● Strong skills in custom UI development
● A passion for Unit & e2e Testing
● Deep understanding of client-side development as well as server side (Nextjs)
● Exposure to some databases
● GCP experience a plus
● Experience with UI Design Systems methodologies and practices
