We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Real Estate Associate to join our growing Asset Management team. This is an excellent opportunity to work directly with Carol Phillips and her team on high-value, high-profile landlord and tenant matters. What you'll do:
Join a team with an impressive client list of national retailers and large regional businesses. We have a strong reputation for landlord and tenant work across the retail sector, providing support with acquisition and estate management strategies. We need an experienced lawyer to support with transactional due diligence and management work for our retail clients, both on landlord and tenant side. Experience in telecoms matters is also an advantage to enable you to work with our clients in that sector also.
You will be involved in all aspects of asset management, from advising clients on acquiring, managing, and disposing of real estate to helping them plan for the future and providing innovative solutions. We work swiftly and collaboratively with our planning, construction, and property disputes teams, and we deploy innovative technology solutions in partnership with our Client Innovation team.
What we're looking for:
- Confidence in working closely with clients of varying sizes to support their asset management needs.
- Ability to ask insightful questions to better understand and align with client needs.
- Independence and enjoyment of responsibility and direct communication with key client contacts.
- Seamless collaboration with co-counsel partners, focusing on client needs and property portfolio assets.
- Motivation to develop skills, understand the commercial context of client businesses, and provide relevant advice.
- Appreciation of the "bigger picture" to offer sound commercial advice.
- Strong collaboration skills, excellent communication, attention to detail, and effective organisation.
