With the exceptional pace of technological change, you will be driven to stay ahead of relevant developments and be at the forefront in understanding the impact of these.
We will expect you to engage and support junior lawyers and trainees in your work, delegating and supervising tasks to ensure that work is done at the right level whilst allowing you to focus on more complex matters. You will be a strong communicator with good rapport building skills and the resilience to work under pressure with your ability to forge lasting relationships with clients, you will be keen to create opportunities to further enhance your profile and that of the firm by engaging with a variety of business development opportunities.
You may already be an Associate seeking to work with high quality clients with more exposure to complex work in order to broaden your skills or may have a background of working in an inhouse legal team. Previous experience of a secondment may be advantageous but is not essential. More important to us is your personal motivation to continue developing your skills with clients, seeking to understand the commercial context of their business and gaining confidence in order to provide relevant advice at the right moment.
