Here at Foot Anstey we are looking for a new 3rd Line Analyst to join our growing Digital Data & Technology team where you will be based in our Plymouth, Exeter, Bristol or Southampton. If you are an experienced 2nd Line Analyst with exposure to 3rd Line support and looking for that next step this could be the role for you.

In this role you will work closely with all parts of Technology function, including Service Desk, Technical Account and Service Managers, software and data engineering teams, and Solutions Architects. The focus of your role here will be on increasing capacity and capability within our technical support function, providing skilled advice on a range of existing in-use technologies and emerging solutions.

This is a great opportunity for someone who likes to have a varied workload covering technology from many different areas, who is a natural problem solver and enjoys exploring new solutions and technology that improves efficiencies and productivity. You will be working in a small friendly team and will have the freedom to manage your own workload within a structured roadmap of change and business as usual project based activities.

For this role, support and development of technical processes in relation to cloud technology will be a requirement; but you don't need to have a specific technical specialism.  We are however, looking for someone to join us who thrives on learning new things, accepting challenges and working hard to create a great outcome.

Although you won't be on call in this role,  flexibility will be important with working hours typically between 0800 and 1800 and there may sometimes be a requirement for involvement in project work or issue resolution outside of these hours.

What you'll be doing

  • Engage in proactive and reactive troubleshooting, collaborating with external partners for technical enhancements and new product launches.
  • Conduct in-depth research to offer high-level design solutions, and evaluate third-party proposals in alignment with business goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure up-to-date technology.
  • Manage technical documentation and take ownership of day-to-day tasks, adhering to timelines.

What we're looking for:

  • High level of technology literacy with practical experience in a 3rd line application environment.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Server environments and Office 365 solutions including Azure Active Directory, Intune, SCCM, Teams
  • Cyber security awareness and a logical approach to minimising risk within our technical environment.
  • A degree of understanding or certification in ITIL, specifically incident, problem and change management and a desire to work to best practice.
  • Ability to demonstrate experience of in-depth problem-solving skills and solution-based thinking with a willingness to learn and build expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud services.

Successful applicants will be required to complete a pre-employment screening process which includes a financial integrity check and a DBS check. If you wish to discuss any issues or questions in connection with this, please do speak in confidence with a member of the Talent Acquisition Team. Contact us at recruitment.team@footanstey.com and we will come back to you as soon as we can.
