We are looking for a Costs Lawyer/Law Costs draftsperson to join Enable Law in Southampton.  This is an excellent opportunity for somebody looking to develop their career in costs, working in a newly developed team led by Andrew Harnett.  The role will be varied and will include work from our Clinical Negligence, Personal Injury and Property Litigation teams.   

What we're looking for

  • At least 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience of drafting bills of costs, cost budgets and dealing with assessment proceedings
  • Ability to deal with advocacy at Costs and Case Management Conferences and detailed assessment hearings
  • Experience in dealing with legal aid and Court of Protection costs
  • A genuine interest in developing a career within legal costs
