Overall Brief 

You are responsible for the overall financial and business performance of the Netherlands, Belgium and LuxembourgThis is relatively a new region for us so you will really get to have an impact! You will build and execute a go to market strategy to ensure growth and achievement of revenue objectives. You scale the country by building a strong follower base in the community through partnerships and influencers. You will help build and create a team from scratch. Lead them into exceeding our company's targets with flawless execution and a high attention to detail. Help us push this market forward and create real value for foodspring 

Your role 

  • You are responsible for the overall financial and business performance of the Benelux region 

  • You build and execute a go to market and growth strategy in order to achieve revenue and business plan objectives 

  • You scale the country by building a strong follower base in the community and through partnerships and influencers 

  • You have an overall accountability for monthly KPIs in ecommerce, user engagement, and general market traction 

  • You develop a road map for on-going promotions and campaigns of product and services offered in the market working with internal stakeholders where needed 

  • You identify out-of- the-box initiatives to engage partners and customers that differentiates foodspring from other companies in the same industry 

  • You initiate and drive initiatives with your team to boost brand awareness in the countries and work with relevant stakeholders to ensure brand consistency 

  • You will help recruit, build out and lead the country team  all in order to strive for exceeding our company's targets with flawless execution and a high attention to detail 

  • You develop an intimate knowledge of your region with the goal of becoming the go-to source for all information relating to local trends and market dynamics, e.g. pricing, demand seasonality and compression patterns and further sales actively by these means 

  • You improve the quality of our offer by continuously adapting the value proposition to the Benelux region and generate high-level insights translate these into useful action points 

Your profile 

  • You have a Bachelors, Masters or MBA in Business Administration, International Management or similar fields (Academic excellence) 

  • You are a strategy visionary and leader with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar function or 4-6 years of proven experience in a management position in an e- commerce related capacity 

  • You have a successful track record within digital, internet and consumer technology 

  • You are outgoing and an excellent communicator 

  • You are used to the exposure to entrepreneurial, fast-paced and fast growth companies and are willing to travel 

  • You have excellent team management and analytical skills 

  • You are highly energetic with an entrepreneurial and “hands on / getting things done"-attitude, capable of transmitting enthusiasm to both the partners and team 

  • You have the ability to balance competing priorities and manage multiple project/deals simultaneously 

  • You are result-driven and have excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills 

  • You are fluent in English and speak/write Dutch on a native level; any other language is a plus
