Your role  

  • Become part of the Product & Innovations team at one of central Europe’s leading functional food and health companies. We are currently looking for a self-motivated Regulatory Affairs Manager with a burning passion for health and nutrition. 

  • As a Regulatory Affairs Manager at foodspring, your responsibilities are to ensure that our products meet all the legal requirements regarding ingredients and labeling, including health claims.  

  • You will also provide support to the product developers finding the optimal formulation for innovations, as well as marketing, sales representatives and customer service for promotional purposes and customer feedback. 

  • You keep a close track of legislative developments and updates, and up-and-coming areas of opportunity within the nutrition industry. 

  • You will work closely with colleagues in the Product & Innovations department including new product development, strategic purchasing and quality control, ensuring that new products and our existing product portfolio meet strategic, commercial and qualitative goals.  

  • You will also have close contact with our suppliers and other stakeholders.

 

Your profile  

  • Profound knowledge of regulatory requirements in food and/or supplements, including health claims and updates in legislation. 

  • You have a relevant education (food chemist, engineer, nutritionistfood science or something similar) 

  • First successful experience in similar position in an international company (regulatory and/or quality). 

  • In addition to your regulatory knowledge, you have a strong commercial interest in taking new products to the market by supporting the product development. 

  • You are highly skilled in establishing partnerships and collaboration with business partners, manufacturer and regional regulatory affairs, as well as other stakeholders. 

  • You are results-orientated, ability to execute multiple tasks effectively and with a sense of urgency. 

  • You have a solid capacity to analyze, interpret and synthesize on regulation and guidelines. 

  • You are business fluent in BOTH German and English (speaking and writing). 

  • You are comfortable working in a high-paced, start-up environment.
