We’re looking for a highly driven and motivated Regional Expansion Manager, APAC to join our bubbly and diverse APAC Expansion team in Bangkok. Our team empowers functional teams across 9+ countries in APAC to expand foodpanda to deliver in new areas. - Initiate data-driven projects by formalizing an approach to solve business problems and achieve business targets.
- Develop frameworks to analyze business and operational problems, develop hypotheses, mine data, deliver recommendations and impact assessment.
- Develop statistical models to drive business growth and operational improvements, such as operational and cost efficiency, customer/rider/restaurant-side growth, etc...
- Conduct industry analysis and research, Monitor/Oversee competitive market trends on both demand and supply sides.
- Monitor demand and supply situation to identify and solve abnormal growth patterns
- 3-6 years of experience in management consulting, business/data analytics/data science, engineering, or related roles.
- Strong strategic thinking & experience designing business framework
- Strong statistical knowledge, experienced in regression analysis and common machine learning models
- Strong Data Visualization skills
- Previous experiences related to BI/AI tools (like R, Python, Tableau, Power BI) will be an advantage.
- Ability to take initiative, drive impacts in a constantly-changing work environment and fast growing industry
- Creative, solutions driven mindset, with a can-do attitude
- Good communication and presentational skills to communicate and sell ideas across various business units
- Experience in creating and optimizing processes.
