We’re currently looking for a Manager/Senior Manager, Procurement (Supply Chain & New Verticals) APAC  to join our regional team based in Singapore.

You will be a key member of the Procurement team that is responsible for leading the supply chain & new verticals across the APAC region. You will actively work with business stakeholders in the region & guide local Procurement leaders with the strategies in place for this category.

Reports directly to the APAC Regional Procurement Director and dotted line to Global Category lead.

This role is responsible for leading all aspects of Supply Chain and New Verticals procurement in the region. This individual will also be responsible to liaise with various stakeholders and procurement leaders in the countries that Foodpanda operates in to drive these initiatives. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Implement regional category management in alignment with global strategies through partnership with cross-functional teams and knowledge of market best practices.
  • You work in close cooperation with senior leaders from respective business units, entities, countries on all related projects
  • Develop a strategic approach in procuring supply chain & logistics providers across the region
  • Spearhead new Dmarts & Kitchens launches in the region, with a view on leasing, construction and fit out
  • You will focus on sustainable optimisation of profit contribution from strategic procurement activities and manage relationships with major external partners for categories in scope
  • High level of interaction with adequate procurement responsibilities in different countries
  • Take on category management responsibilities, develop an efficient and balanced supplier base, build good business relationships, and drive supplier performance by using appropriate metrics and scorecards.
  • Oversee the contracting process including administration, archiving and post-execution.
  • Coordinates and manages tasks within the team and in alignment with the Procurement teams
  • Working closely with Global Category team at Delivery Hero Central
  • Supports and promotes the usage of catalogues in the P2P tool
  • Oversee large scale tenders / procurement, adapt at evaluating suppliers
  • Participates in procurement overarching projects and technical meetings related to operative procurement and procurement excellence
  • Identifies and implements (or pushes for implementation of) optimization measures and change management activities across all key procurement processes
  • Implement regional category management in alignment with global strategies through partnership with cross-functional teams and knowledge of market best practices.
  • Take on BAU category management responsibilities, develop an efficient and balanced supplier base, build good business relationships, and drive supplier performance by using appropriate metrics and scorecards.
  • Ensure that all APAC procurement policies and procedures are adhered to.
  • Oversee the contracting process including administration, archiving and post-execution.

 

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years’ experience as a procurement professional
  • Track record of successful project management with excellent organisational skills, and the ability to handle multiple stakeholders and deadlines
  • Experienced in regional supplier management, contract management, and strategic sourcing.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Working knowledge of SAP Ariba
  • Willingness and ability to adapt to a rapidly changing and high-growth environment.
