Specialist/Manager, Private Label (APAC)

We are now looking for a highly driven and motivated Specialist/Manager, Private Label (APAC) to join our fast-growing regional headquarters based in Singapore. The successful candidate will be a key member of our regional Pandamart team, responsible for our Own Brands / Private Label portfolio.


Key responsibilities:

  • Collaborate in the development and defining of sourcing and commercial strategies for Own Brands / Private Label
  • Working closely with cross-functional teams, in-country commercial & marketing teams 
  • Build a deep understanding of suppliers, industry, customers and competitors in the respective markets
  • Evaluating products and suppliers including negotiation, business development and business reviews
  • Recommends new products based on market trends, manages new product introduction
  • Translates market knowledge and consumer insights into actionable opportunities
  • Manage and support in commercial requirements for Private Label portfolio
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Keeps track of KPIs and forecasts in line with trade plans
  • Collaborate in planning and promotions of the portfolio of products
  • Any ad-hoc tasks or projects assigned by the company


 Key requirements:

  • Degree in any discipline
  • Proven experience in product development and brand / category management
  • Demonstrated background in similar roles with supermarket/grocery industry would be a plus
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills
  • Thinks creatively and adapts quickly in a fast-paced environment
