You will be a part of the Regional Controlling team which is  responsible for monthly reporting and financial planning across the APAC Region and the different entities.

We are looking for a Manager, Financial Controller to integrate our Regional Controlling team and be responsible for a subset of the local APAC markets. You will partner with local and global teams to develop finance insights that drive growth and profitability for the region. The candidate will thrive in a culture of accountability and transparency and be highly responsive to the needs of the continually evolving organization. The individual will have exceptional attention to detail, but will also be a strategic thinker, excited by the opportunity to test ideas and lead projects that impact the company.

 

Responsibilities:

  • You develop and maintain (financial) models and templates (in alignment with Global HQ) for all forecasting activities, including strategic planning
  • You Monitor Financials and Key Performance Indicators to ensure reporting accuracy as well as compliance with existing guidelines
  • Support local teams during Month End Close - provide guidance and tools to help them improve accuracy and timeliness of MEC reporting
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly Management Reporting decks with a high degree of accuracy and detailed analyses, such as identification and explanation of variances
  • You build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business challenges and opportunities and serve as the business partner during e.g., investment case proposals
  • Design, build and implement financial controls to ensure adherence to group controlling policies
  • Ad hoc tasks as required by CFO

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of relevant  working experience in FP&A / Controlling / Consulting / Audit firm
  • Proven track record of solving advanced Excel modeling challenges and gained experience in P&L and project management
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and you will be someone with a high degree of comfort with analytics, numbers and the capability to draw decisions based on both intuition and data
  • Hands-on team player with advanced communication skills, verbally and written
  • Highly motivated, willing to take ownership of tasks and projects and have the determination to see assignments through to completion
  • Natural curiosity and a desire to understand the business, with the ability to proactively drive and influence change within the organization through excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Clear communicator that is able to distill and explain complex problems for stakeholders at all levels
