We are looking for a highly driven and motivated Senior Marketing Manager - Brand Media & Procurement (APAC) to join our growing regional team based in Singapore, foodpanda’s Asia HQ. The successful candidate will set the basis for the new Regional Merchandise strategy and focus on 5-6 key markets to bring to life outstanding 360 campaigns, owning BTL planning and ensuring best integration with ATL and online strategies. The ideal candidate needs to have a creative flair for generating engaging ideas, and a data-driven approach to methodically develop tactics and achieve high ROI on the various initiatives, having a strong grasp of different marketing channels and analytics tools, with the ability to derive meaningful insights and drive new strategies based on data. The candidate is also a master of stakeholder management, having to deal with multiple local teams and departments.

Responsibilities

  • Work with key business stakeholders in both APAC & country teams to align plans and executions for key BTL channels such as Activations, In-store Branding, Rider Marketing and Merchandise, ensuring integrations with the bigger campaigns and ATL/online channels, having a 360 and collaborative approach
  • Turn the cities pink! Ensure utmost execution and planning of Activations, In-store Branding and Rider Marketing in 5-6 key markets. Drive business KPIs such as orders, acquisitions and adoption, as well as brand KPI such as ToM and Brand Love. 
  • Launch, own and be accountable for the newly created foodpanda Brand Merchandising division through the implementation of new processes, GTM plans, definition of a yearly product calendar including limited editions, pricing, distribution channels, communication channels etc
  • Bring to life Merchandise collaborations with brands, local artists, NGOs covering multiple categories stationery, entertainment, fashion wearables, accessories, entertainment  etc
  • Understand market trends, perform competitor analysis, and research relevant industry developments to maintain a competitive advantage
  • Deliver insights, reports, visualization and analysis to optimize growth opportunities. Dive deep into the available data to develop new marketing frameworks and optimise processes, but also think out of the box to be able to design new data points for tracking and calculate ROI
  • Be a steward of good data practices - robust documentation, versioning, playbooking, processes, and knowledge sharing

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in multi-channel marketing role, highly focused on on-ground BTL strategies and Merchandise
  • Deep knowledge of the APAC market and proven track record of launching successful marketing campaigns across multiple countries driving qualified leads in the funnel
  • Proven track record of Procurement and Sourcing for Marketing projects
  • Strong communication skills, ability to present ideas and updates on business performance to  senior management
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to craft actionable insights from complex data
  • You know how to handle processes end to end, influence decision at management level and manage budgets
  • Responsible, structured and precise work attitude, with great attention to details. You are familiar with setting-up efficient workflow and processes and work independently
  • Proactive can-do attitude, problem solving skills and good team player
  • Ability to work within a tight timeline and juggle multiple projects at once
