Our APAC Finance Business Services Team Shared Service Centre (SSC) is seeking a highly motivated Head of Finance Transformation (Platform), APAC to scale and lead our Finance Transformation team. 

Responsibilities 

 Based ideally at foodpanda’s regional headquarters in Singapore, the role will also work very closely with various internal stakeholders such as; Regional Process Owners, Product Managers, Central Innovation Team, Finance Systems, Commercial, Support Centre and local Finance teams. 

To be successful at delivering value to our stakeholders and team members, you are required to be nimble, be able to multi-task, constructively challenge the status quo and collaborate/ communicate effectively across all geographies. Your core deliverables/ responsibilities include:

  • Build and lead a Regional Transformation Team
  • Support in the design and implementation of the Regional Finance Shared Service Centre (for all facets of the operating model)
  • Partner with business stakeholders and process owners strive for end-to-end process excellence and automation that enable scalabilities and continuous growth. In areas such as, but not limited to O2C (Billing), P2P and R2R.
  • Develop tactical plans to implement key initiatives and measure results 
  • Manage BPM (Business Process Management) for the region (i.e. modelling business processes)
  • Establish blueprints, share leading practices between countries and across functions, drive compliance and economics 
  • Design and implement a proper Process Performance Management with PPIs (Process Performance Indicators) 
  • Work closely with Central Innovation team, regional stakeholders and Business Finance team to drive process performance and financials and roll out process excellence strategy and initiatives to the region

 Requirements:

 Basic Qualifications:

  • University degree in Economics, Finance, Business Management or equivalent
  • 8+ years of relevant professional experience in a large organization, Big4, Management Consulting or a leading function in a startup company 
  • Proven track record in finance business process improvements and performance management 
  • Proven track record of building and developing high performing teams

Preferred Qualifications / Experiences:

  • Prior experience in the technology industry or food delivery is a plus
  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence, persuade and drive action.
  • Strong understanding of Project Management (PMP/PMI Certification or equivalent is a plus)
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills – an analytical, innovative, and creative mindset
  • Strong leadership and management skills - Able to lead, guide and motivate a team to meet corporate goals and objectives
  • Familiar with Business Process Management Tools (e.g. Signavio, ARIS or alike)
  • Proficient with Google Suite and/or Microsoft applications for analysis and reporting
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
  • A creative mindset and a willingness to question assumptions and conventional wisdom. You love creating new systems and solving problems via infrastructure and automation
  • Basic programming skills, SQL, and Tableau is a plus.
