ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
foodpanda is looking for a passionate self-starter Project Manager who is able to think-out-of-the-box and does not shy away from any challenges. Beyond the abilities to project manage, put on one's thinking cap and drive initiatives, this person plays an important role in managing in-house and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) operations. The right person will be responsible for data-backed decisions in a fast-paced environment. You are passionate about delivering wow customer experience, enthusiastic about solutions, and excited to apply hands-on project management experience. Does this sound like you? Initiatives within the scope will include performance, quality improvement and you will need to work closely with multiple stakeholders from different locations and senior leadership
WHAT YOU WILL OWN:
- Responsible for driving operational performance improvement.
- Responsible for understanding the clear expectations for the project deliverable and also ensuring the team understands the same.
- Ensure proper quality of services and strict adherence to processes.
- Identify, analyse and support the improvement of existing business processes to optimise performance.
- Ensure customer satisfaction. Responsible for minimising uncertainty, avoiding unwanted surprises and involving the customer in the project's progress as much as is deemed reasonable to ensure the customer is happy.
- Overseeing an operational team, leading its performance and quality output.
- Identify, analyse and support the improvement of existing business processes to optimise performance.
- Manage communication with local and regional stakeholders to guarantee proper alignment.
- Share best practices and implement continuous improvement actions regularly.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE.
- Experience in similar job positions.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related fields (Economics, Engineering, Business, etc.)
- Self-starter with experience executing initiatives from start to finish.
- Data-driven mindset to understand the business needs and find areas of improvement within the operation.
- Problem solver with the ability to understand complex concepts and work with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong stakeholder management skills to resolve escalations, negotiating compromise and influencing others.
- Project Management experience showing ability to organise tasks, prioritise competing demands, find solutions, and follow through to successful conclusions
- History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
- Someone with a startup mentality, who has solid team management experience and leading diverse teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong excel and data analysis skills, along with proven problem solving and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to analyse data and predict flows of service
- Excellent reporting and analytical skills, including carrying out weekly and monthly reporting
- Strong commercial business acumen sense
- Fluency in English is required
