Senior Finance Executive (AP) HK support

We are looking for a highly-driven and motivated Senior Accounts Executive (Accounts payable) to support our new verticals finance team in Hong Kong, focusing on invoice processing and communication to Hong Kong based stakeholders . This role will be based in Malaysia and will work closely with the Finance Team based in Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
- Perform 3-way match in the Inventory Warehouse System for all incoming invoices for the different warehouses across Hong Kong
- Recording of invoices in the Accounting system (SAP)
- Ensure accuracy of invoices and outgoing payments
- Keep track of all expenditures and outgoing payments
- Support in Monthly closing activities, for example booking of accruals for invoices that have yet to be received
- Continuous improvement of the end-to-end Accounts payable process
- Ad-hoc finance or administrative support to the finance team
Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5years experience of post qualification experience in an audit firm, or inhouse role.
- Diploma or Bachelor degree required in Accounting, Finance or another relevant field
- Proficient in Excel (e.g. Pivot Tables, vLookups etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure, detail-oriented and employs a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Knowledge in using SAP accounting software is a plus.
- Team player with an ability to function effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Reads, writes and speaks Chinese is a must
