What we are looking for

As our first HR based in the UK, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of employee relations, ensuring a positive and supportive workplace environment compliant with UK employment laws. You will provide HR advisory services to US based teams, ensure compliance with employment laws, and contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and processes. This includes:

  • Overseeing the new hire experience for all UK operation hires. This includes, but is not limited to, sending offer letters, onboarding of new starters, drafting contracts and other HR communication, performance reviews and exit interviews)
  • Spearheading compliance with local employment laws and regulations, ensuring that all HR practices are in full adherence.
  • Being able to render HR advisory services to managers, ensuring the company follows best practices in staff management.
  • Overseeing day-to-day employee relations, including formal processes, management support, employee assistance, and any other employment-related matters.
  • Providing guidance on company policies, benefits, and welfare matters.
  • Supervising the background checking processes and verify candidates' eligibility to work and visa documentation.
  • Demonstrating adaptability and confidence in navigating a rapidly evolving work environment while solving open-ended problems through operational solutions and streamlined processes.
  • Exhibiting excellence in documentation and efficiently handle high volumes of requests, maintaining exceptional organization.


What you need for success

  • Minimum of 4 to 7 years of experience in HR roles, with experience working within a global company being desirable.
  • Comprehensive understanding of local employment laws and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in overseeing background checking processes and ensuring candidates have suitable Right to Work/Visa documentation.
  • Expertise in managing the full employee life cycle, including onboarding, various HR administrative tasks, and off-boarding.

Location: Remote UK

Salary: £50,000-60,000 + company stock & benefits
