Flight Itinerary (About The Role)

We're looking for a talented and experienced Business Analyst to join our team to help drive one of the largest and most unique airline transformation efforts the industry has ever seen.

You are a detail-oriented, tech-savvy Business Analyst comfortable working directly with FLYR's airline customers. You know how to map business requirements, and coordinate efforts with external and internal stakeholders.

What Your Journey Will Look Like (Responsibilities)

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements
  • Conduct detailed analysis of existing business processes, systems, and data to identify opportunities for improvement. Map existing processes to our product capabilities.
  • Help define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with project managers and technical teams.
  • Develop comprehensive business requirement documents, use cases, and functional specifications.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and interviews to elicit requirements and gather feedback from stakeholders.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure alignment between business requirements and technical solutions.
  • Support testing activities, including test case development, execution, and defect management.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.

What To Pack For This Trip (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the airline or travel industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Experience with airline industry systems such as Global Distribution Systems (GDS). Passenger Service Systems (PSS), Departure Control Systems (DCS), or Revenue Management Systems (RMS) is a plus.
