Flight Itinerary (About The Role)

We're looking for a talented and experienced Manager to join our team to help drive one of the largest and most unique airline transformation efforts the industry has ever seen.

You are a detail-oriented, tech-savvy Leader with a solid background in business analysis. You are comfortable working directly with FLYR's airline customers  and you know how to  successfully coordinate efforts with external and internal stakeholders.

What Your Journey Will Look Like (Responsibilities)

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 4-8 Business Analysts, providing guidance, coaching, and feedback to support their professional growth and development.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, goal setting, and career development discussions with team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing, best practices, and effective communication across the team.
  • Support delivery in planning, execution, and delivery of airline implementation projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to help define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and allocate resources accordingly to meet project requirements.
  • Partner with project managers, technical leads, and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for our clients on  issues and risks, providing guidance and support to resolve challenges and mitigate potential impacts.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on business analysis methodologies, tools, and industry best practices, and provide guidance and training to team members as needed.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.

What To Pack For This Trip (Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience as a Team leader or a  Manager for at least 1 year.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the airline or travel industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Experience with airline industry systems such as Global Distribution Systems (GDS). Passenger Service Systems (PSS), Departure Control Systems (DCS), or Revenue Management Systems (RMS) is a plus.
