About the role 

FLYR Hospitality uses deep machine learning to predict and set prices for hospitality businesses around the globe, far faster and more effectively than a traditional manual pricing process.  Our SaaS platform is used daily by a world-wide customer base to better understand and optimise their businesses.

Engineers play a pivotal role in product discovery and delivery, assisting the team to determine the optimal technical direction prior to development. We value small increments, rapid iteration and continuous delivery, and have cutting edge developer tools that make life better for engineers and enable us to build a better product faster.

We are looking for a full-stack engineer to help us deliver our ambitious roadmap of customer-facing products and applications.  Working closely in a cross-functional, autonomous team, you will be involved through the entire product lifecycle, through MVP feature definition, technical build and production release.

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with Product Managers and Tech Leads to understand user problems and define the optimal technical solutions 
  • Building excellent user-facing features in React, TypeScript and GraphQL 
  • Cooperating with back-end engineers to agree supporting microservice features and endpoints
  • Identifying and prioritising technical debt remediation as required
  • Working as part of a cross functional delivery team, owning the problem space, solution definition, product build and production release

Qualifications 

  • 5+ years of commercial customer-facing experience with React & TypeScript
  • Solid experience with Node.js and GraphQL
  • Experience working in cross-functional autonomous teams, understanding business problems and identifying the optimal technical direction
  • Passion for working in a product-centric business with a focus on shipping features and delivering value to users
