Chef Manager Job Profile
Responsible for supervising and directing the work of all food and beverage employees.
Ensure equipment is maintained and work areas are clean, safe and orderly.
Strictly adhere to policies and procedures
Maintain food costs within budgetary constraints. Maintain strict inventory control.
Interview, make hiring recommendations and orient new staff.
Schedule and reschedule staff using independent judgment and exercising discretion when creating the schedule.
Responsible for tracking attendance and effectively carrying out disciplinary action where appropriate.
Communicate and enforce policies and procedures.
Plan Community and individual resident menus as ordered by the primary care provider.
Plan meals for special events as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Chef Manager Job Requirements
Relevant work experience (2+ years)
At least one-year supervisory experience, 2+ preferred.
Knowledge of DHSR Dietary regulations.
Complete state required Food Service Orientation Manual.
Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly

Pay & Benefit Information:
The position offers a starting salary range of approximately $55,000 to $58,000. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, subject to individual and Company performance as well as the Company’s discretion, which bonus typically averages 5-7% of base salary.
