We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our design team. This person will report to the Director of Product Design. They will partner with product management and engineering to define part of Flyhome’s product experience. Our ideal candidate has a track record of shipping work with a customer and business impact, communicating in a clear and compelling way, and improving the broader design team. Familiarity crafting web, mobile, and offline experiences is preferred.
What you'll do as our Senior Product Designer:
- Collaborate with product management and engineering to identify experiments that will drive customer and business goals
- Use both qualitative and quantitative insights and research to inform your design decisions
- Partner closely with design manager and product management leads to define product roadmap and strategy
- Craft high quality design deliverables for engineers and other key stakeholders
- Balance business and customer needs
- Model and mentor excellence for early career designers
- Use storytelling and presentation skills to share your design decisions and initiatives in a clear and compelling way
Your experiences, skills, and abilities:
- Designer with 5+ years of experience as a UX Designer, Product Designer, or similar
- An online portfolio that demonstrates your experience
- Track record navigating ambiguity and helping define product roadmap
- Contributor to a design system or component library
- Demonstrated ability to drive positive design team change
- Preferred: Familiarity crafting online and offline experiences
This role is remote and can be located in any state where we are operating. We are currently operating in WA, OR, CO, CA, IL, UT, NC, MD, FL, AZ, NY, TX, NV, NJ, MN, PN, KY, VA, ID, SC with more to come!
At Flyhomes, we use compensation ranges based on US geographic locations which are grouped into 4 tiers. To determine the compensation difference by tiers, we use a pre-determined differential based on external market data. The salary band shown in this posting is the broadband that includes the hiring range for all tiers for the job posted. A job offer will be based on the salary band for a candidate’s specific geographic location at time of hire and commensurate with experience.
West Coast preferred (Seattle or Los Angeles); however, location is absolutely flexible
Salary band: $99,225 ~$148,500
