We are looking for a detail oriented and creative Full Stack Engineers to join our Seattle, WA Fly Engineering team! 

You’ll be working on user-facing features that will change the way people buy their next house. You should be passionate about building scalable software that is fun to use. You’ll be leveraging the latest feature of Javascript in ES6 and ES7, using tools such as React, Redux, Webpack, Babel and others. On the backend, you’ll be interfacing with services written in Go, Python, and Rails.

What You’ll Do

  • Work alongside Product Designers to iterate on the design and implementation of our digital product
  • Work with Backend Engineers to build and release features
  • Build efficient, scalable, and reusable front-end systems and abstractions
  • Find and address performance issues
  • Participate in regular design and code reviews
  • Identify and communicate front-end best practices across the team.

What You’ll Bring 

  • Expert knowledge of JavaScript
  • Experience with modern JavaScript libraries and tooling
  • Familiarity with server-side MVC web frameworks, such as Ruby on Rails or Django
  • Commanding grasp of HTML, CSS, and related web technologies
  • Advanced computer science & engineering fundamentals
  • Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations
  • Demonstrated design and UX sensibilities
  • BA in computer science or engineering 
  • MA/MS in related field and/or completion of technical coding program
